Why does my solar Geyser make this loud noise when I open my yap or flush the toilet. I thought it must be the pressure but even when I open the tap slowly, the noise is loud almost sounds like faulty car engine. Can it be residue build up causing the impellers to cease rotation function or trapped air?

My mop is stuck,, I can't get it out

I found I have the same water heater. Recently I found the hot water is not as hot as before. I have to use hot water only to take shower. And the water flow seems to be slow as well. Any idea? I thought it maybe the water filter was blocked but I couldn’t find it in my heater. 😅

Great idea. We had only tepid water in our Jayco caravan shower, kitchen, etc and figured the tempering valve wasn't working properly. We took the cap off and used an Allen key to tighten clockwise half a revolution and presto we got hot water flowing. I don't know if this is how you are meant to adjust temperature upwards, or (perhaps more likely?) if calcium deposits were blocking the hot water flow and got dislodged. Either way, the temp is comfortably hot now, so very happy. Love your suggestion and we'll look at getting a plumber to make those changes.

I had a blocked kitchen drain outside. I bailed it out and fished out the stuff lodged down there. It included a dead bird and one of my long screwdrivers (thanks son). With those gone there was still a lot of thick grey stinking sludge, but a drain plunger disc on rods shifted it.

Great video, and yes, I did get it going again. I seem to have difficulty spotting the pilot light.If it was dark, I would see it better. It happened this morning.Followed the steps and hoped for the best. I can now have a warm shower. Thanks again.

Great video Ben. Just a quick one. I pulled the valve at top to release the pressure after 12 months and sometimes it drips specifically when using the hot water. My system is a Vulcan 170 and is only 12 months old do you think I have a problem?

It is running non stop. Even I close the out-valve. It still runs. It I make the motor works at lower pressure level it stops when no values opens but runs again

Great tips, fixed my blocked drain. Only thing I would add is don't plug your sinks etc. I did and we had some blow back around the dishwasher. I guess if the sink was not plugged it would have just moved up to the sink and back down again once the blockage is cleared. Lucky this pipe was just for the kitchen. Cheers.

I didnt use a mop because I didnt have one so I got the top off then pulled out anothe plastic thing and got a long , large metal spoon (I couldnt reach so far down) and got all the crap out...then ran water from my tap tp flush it through and it worked! I improvised a bit but ot worked, thankyou!

If you are limited by the pipe diameter, is it possible to run 2 seperate 16 litre systems instead of one 26 litre system?. Eg one for upstairs and on for down stairs

Thanks for the video! So if you if have a puddle flange installed, and the drain get blocked down further in the pipe, doesn’t that mean the space under the tile, even though is waterproofed, is going to fill up before it comes up the surface drain so you that you know there’s a blockage?

I have a combination of regulated gas appliances (like a baby weber Q) and non regulated (companion high output stove). My idea was to run a high pressure gas line along the side of the van with female quick connect sockets (not bayonet) and then add male quick connect adapters to my existing hoses. Then I could use both high and low pressure appliances all with quick connect. Is this doable?
